The Pelham High School softball team defeated Homewood 11-1 in high school softball action March 27.

Caitlyn Sapp led the Panthers offensively as she went 2-for-5 with a homer. Sapp drove in two runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Madi Walker, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 2-for-2 with a double. Kristian Foster, who drove in one run and scored two runs, went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Erin Whitman, who drove in one run and scored one run, finished 2-for-2 at the plate. Lindsey Pyle, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 2-for-2 at the plate. Emily Spain finished 2-for-2 and scored one run. Becky Fox finished 1-for-2 and drove in one run. Madison Ledford scored two runs.

Spain earned the win in the circle after giving up one run on four hits with eight strikeouts in a five-inning complete game.
