FROM STAFF REPORTS
Special Equestrians needs more volunteers to assist with the spring season.
For those who like horses, the outdoors and helping people, Special Equestrians offers a chance to volunteer with special-needs children and adults as they work therapeutically with horses. New volunteers will join more than 250 other volunteers who assist with Special Equestrians.
Special Equestrians is a therapeutic horseback-riding program for people with physical, mental or emotional disabilities. All levels of volunteer experience are available (no horse experience necessary), and volunteers must be 14 years or older and attend the volunteer training sessions on Tuesday, April 3 from 5-7 p.m.
Training sessions will take place at the Special Equestrians facility on the campus of Indian Springs School. To reserve a spot at the training session or to find out more information, email volunteer@specialequest.org, call 987-9462 or visit Specialequest.org.
