FROM STAFF REPORTS

CHELSEA – Kanawahala Program Center will hold an open house on Sunday, April 15 from 2-4 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to explore what KPC has to offer including archery, hayrides and fishing. Parents can use this opportunity to tour the camp, meet the camp staff and see what all the camp can offer their children this summer. Those who may be looking for a location for corporate and civic group rentals and retreats, church picnics and family reunions may also come and tour the camp’s facilities.

KPC has a private lake for weeklong water sports sessions, and offers camps where girls learn outdoor skills, nature activities and program-themed crafts. Girls also have opportunities to run the zip line at night or solve a camp mystery in addition to traditional camp activities. KPC offers resident and day camps and resident and day horse camps.

Summer sessions will be held May 29 through July 27, and prices range from $125-$388 for children 5-17. Resident camp is open to girls, both member and non-member, while day camp programs are open to girls and boys, members and non-members.
