The Coosa Valley Academy softball team defeated Edgewood Academy 11-4 in high school softball action March 21.

Kala Shaw led the Rebels at the plate as she finished 4-for-4 with two doubles and a triple.

Terrie Sprayberry went 3-for-3 at the plate. Danielle Richardson finished 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of doubles. Carlee Yarnell went 2-for-2 at the plate. Jessica Parris, Allison Craft, Shelby Hurt and Hannah Vick each added a double, while Amelia Ripley finished with a single.

Vick earned the win in the circle after recording five strikeouts in a complete game.
