The Briarwood Christian School baseball team defeated Benjamin Russell 10-0 in its final game in the Lake Martin Classic tournament March 24.

Daniel Robert led the Lions (15-4) at the plate as he went 3-for-4 with a pair of homers and a double. Robert drove in five runs and scored three runs in the victory.

Ben Craft finished 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run. Carter Tyra, who drove in one run and scored one run, finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a double.

Cole Pearson, who drove in two runs and scored two runs, went 1-for-3 at the plate.  Tanner Cunningham finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a double. Sam Morris went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run.

Ethan Simmons, Will Dyson and Kevin McKelvey scored one run each in the victory.

Will Brown earned the win on the mound after giving up just two hits with one strikeout in a five-inning complete-game.
