The Chelsea High School baseball team fell to Beauregard 5-2 in the Lake Martin Classic tournament March 21 in Alexander City.

Alex Dean led the Hornets offenively as he went 1-for-2 at the plate with a double. Dean drove in one run and scored one run.

Davis Shoemaker finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a double and drove in one run. Brody Holder finished 1-for-3 at the plate. Tripp Hobbs went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run. Keelan Gregg also scored one run.

Landon Wiley took the loss after giving up three earned runs on six hits with three walks in 2 1/3 innings. Dean gave up two runs, including one earned run, on five hits with three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings in relief.
