The Oak Mountain High School baseball team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 8-0 in the Baptist Health System Buccaneer Classic tournament March 20 at Hoover High School.

Heath Quinn led the Eagles (13-8) as he went 3-for-5 at the plate. Quinn drove in one run and scored two runs in the victory.

Richard Greene finished 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs. Jay Thompson, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 2-for-4 at the plate. Tyler Lee also finished 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run.

Nick Bietighofer earned the win in the mound after giving up just four hits with five strikeouts and three walks in a complete-game victory.
