The Hope Christian School softball team defeated North River 28-7 in high school softball action March 19.

Sarah Birdsong and Amanda Rowley led the Eagles at the plate with two hits each. Birdsong finished with a triple, while Rowley added a double.

Lindy Walker, Abby Patton, Layla Skinner and Glennleigh Boyd finished with two hits each. Samthan Rowley and Jessica Rowley added one hit each.

Walker drove in a team-high four runs. Amanda Rowley and Glennleigh Boyd drove in three runs each. Birdsong, Patton and Skinner drove in two runs each. Samantha Rowley, Jessica Rowley, Claire Bartlett, Hannah Hale and Patton drove in one run each in the victory.

Walker earned the win on the mound after recording six strikeouts in three innings.
