The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Sylacauga 11-1 in high school softball action March 15.

Caitlin Bice led the Hornets at the plate as she went 2-for-3 with a triple and a double. Bice drove in four runs and scored three runs in the victory.

Jordan Gray finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and scored one run. Amanda Mock, who drove in two runs and scored one run, went 2-for-2 at the plate.

Kacie Craft earned the win in the circle after giving up one unearned run on three hits with four strikeouts in four innings.
