The Spain Park High School girls’ tennis team defeated Pelham 5-4 in high school tennis action March 14.

The Jaguars won three singles’ matches and two doubles’ matches against Pelham.

Sidney Garner of Pelham defeated Olivia Cissell of Spain Park 10-9 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Sarah Beth Dolinger of Pelham defeated Lauren Schroeder of Spain Park 10-8 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Katie Kema of Pelham defeated Lulu Zhang of Spain Park 10-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Madison Luther of Spain Park defeated Brooke Cole of Pelham 10-3 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Tierney Sovic of Spain Park defeated Whitney Hamner of Pelham 10-1 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Kensley Yarbrough of Spain Park defeated Elizabeth Hartzog of Pelham 10-3 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Schroeder and Cissell defeated Garner and Kema 10-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Cole and Dolinger defeated Luther and Sovic 10-5 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Zhang and Yarbrough defeated Hartzog and Hamner 10-3 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
