VANDIVER — A man and woman from Warrior died in a motorcycle accident Oct. 3 in Vandiver on Shelby County Road 55, according to a report from the Alabama Highway Patrol.

James Durehl Graves, 48, was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson with Ida Poarch Graves, 44, as a passenger when the accident occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Ida Graves was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and transported to the Coroner’s Office. James Graves died after being transported to UAB.
