Dear Editor,

During his first term in office, I had the opportunity to meet Congressman Spencer Bachus.

He visited Vincent Elementary School on several occasions while I was principal and was extremely supportive of our school. Congressman Bachus has always displayed a keen interest in education.

He is committed to education being controlled at the local, not federal, level. Loyalty to his district and the people he serves has been a cornerstone of his tenure.

He is an honest and respectable person.
