The Oak Mountain High School boys’ soccer team defeated Gardendale 6-0 in high school soccer action March 10.

Scoring opened in the 10th minute when David DePriest received a ball and laid it off for Stephen Carroll, who made a move to get a good look then bistered his shot.

Subsequent goals by Emilio Lerdo de Tejada and Christian Adkins would propel the Eagels to a 3-0 halftime lead.

Second-half goals from Ryan Hennesey, Brandt Mace and Gray Johnston solidified the Eagles’ victory.
