The Pelham High School boys’ soccer team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 11-1 in high school soccer action March 8.

Ryan Tapley led the Panthers with four goals in the victory.

Andres Melendez added two goals. Karsten Hicks, Miguel Quijada, Cesar Canales, Alexis Diaz and Ethan Savage contributed one goal each in the win.

Pelham goalkeeper Cameron Foss recorded two saves in the match.

GIRLS

The Pelham High School girls’ soccer team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 6-1 in high school soccer action March 8.

Cassie Shiflett, Mara DeLuca, Elizabeth Deyton, Emily Deyton and Maira Martinez scored one goal each for the Panthers.

Pelham goalkeeper Selina Delgadillo recorded four saves in the match.
