The Alabaster Police Department will close sections of several roads Sept. 27 and Sept. 29 as CSX works to repair several railroad crossings in the city.

The department closed railroad crossings on Industrial Road, Eighth Avenue Northwest and Second Place Southwest at 8 a.m. Sept. 27.

Crews will also close railroad crossings on Pony Drive, Fulton Springs Road and Shady Acres Road beginning at 8 a.m. Sept. 29.

All roads will be reopened after work on the crossings is completed.
