A pair of Shelby County legislators recently endorsed Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Chuck Malone’s re-election campaign.

State Sen. Cam Ward, R-Alabaster, and state Rep. Mike Hill, R-Columbiana, each issued press releases on Feb. 29 endorsing Malone.

Malone, a Republican, was appointed as Alabama’s chief justice in 2011 by Gov. Robert Bentley. Malone is now seeking the Republican nomination for election to a full term.
