The Briarwood Christian School baseball team fell to Vestavia Hills 5-1 in high school baseball action March 1.

Matthew Furuto led the Lions at the plate as he finished 1-for-3 with a double and drove in a run.

Will Brown took the loss on the mound after giving up five runs, including four earned runs, on three hits with two strikeouts and three walks in five innings.
