Oak Mountain wins two games in tournament

The Oak Mountain High School softball team won two games in the Central Alabama Classic tournament Feb. 24-25.
Oak Mountain defeated Dadeville 10-0.
Caroline Seitz led the Eagles at the plate as she went 3-for-3 with a homer and a double. Seitz drove in five runs and scored two runs.
Leah Reeve, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 2-for-3 with a triple.
Reeve gave up just one hit with six strikeouts and a walk in four innings.
The Eagles defeated Smiths Station 3-1.
Hannah Griffin led Oak Mountain at the plate as she went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in a run.
Reeve finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Reeve earned the win after giving up one earned run on four hits with 16 strikeouts in a complete game.
The Eagles fell to Prattville 5-1.
Catherine Kimble led Oak Mountain at the plate as she went 2-for-2 and drove in a run.
Seitz finished 2-for-3. Reeve went 1-for-3 with a double and scored a run.
Anne Thomaston took the loss after giving up five runs, including one earned run, onĀ seven hits with two strikeouts and a walk in five innings.
Oak Mountain fell to Auburn 4-1.

Thomaston allowed four runs, including one earned run, on three hits with five strikeouts and two walks in 3 2/3 innings.
