Panthers shut out Brookwood

The Pelham High School baseball team shut out Brookwood in both games in a doubleheader Feb. 25.
The Panthers won the opener 12-0.
Hunter Soleymani earned the win on the mound after firing a complete-game no-hitter in the victory.
Hunter Stovall and Fletcher Johnson each finished 2-for-2 at the plate. Ty Pierce finished 2-for-4. Robert Wilson and Jackson Pruitt each went 1-for-2.
Pelham defeated Brookwood 7-0 in the nightcap.
Pierce and Soleymani led the Panthers after finishing 2-for-3 at the plate. Parker Curry went 2-for-4. Stovall finished 1-for-2, while Wilson and Johnson each finished 1-for-3 at the plate.
Curry allowed only three hits in six innings to earn the win on the mound.
