The Vincent High School baseball team defeated St. Clair County 9-6 in high school baseball action Feb. 21.

Sam Lynn led the Yellow Jackets as he finished 3-for-3 at the plate. Lynn drove in three runs and scored one run.

Jeremiah Gage finished 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored. Daniel Hawkins went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Zac Baucom finished 2-for-4 and scored a run.

Kade Carroll earned the win on the mound after giving up four runs, including three earned runs, with five strikeouts and two walks in 3 2/3 innings.

D.J. Brasher allowed one hit in 2 1/3 innings in relief. Chase Howard gave up two runs on one hit with a strikeout and two walks in the final inning.
