The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team dropped its season opener against Lee Scott Academy 6-5 in high school baseball action Feb. 13.

Hunter Winslett led the Rebels (0-1) with two hits and two RBIs. Jake Carter added a hit and an RBI.

Michael Mims finished with two hits. Stephen Cryer, Cody Wood and Tyler Hickman had one hit each.

Hickman took the loss on the mound.
