Evangel Church recently showcased many of its ministries to members and visitors in the Second-Annual Ministry Fair. The goal was to show visitors the many outreaches of the church and the many ages served. For members, it is an opportunity to get connected in a new and fresh way, perhaps through attending an adult Bible Study, joining the prayer chain, teaching the children on Wednesday nights, or joining one of many fellowship groups which meet needs of the 20-somethings to the 70-somethings. The Missions table shows slides of the recent team sent to minister in Belize, while the Youth table has pictures of their recent outreach to Palmer Home in Mississippi, and the women showcase the meal and hospital outreaches that serve Alabaster and Birmingham. Evangel Church is located on Thompson Road in Alabaster and welcomes those seeking a church.
