The Shelby County High School wrestling team defeated Lincoln and Ashville in high school wrestling action Feb. 2.
The Wildcats defeated host Lincoln 42-24. Seven Shelby County wrestlers won individual matches against Lincoln.
Noah Dorough of Shelby County won his 106-pound match by forfeit. Aaron Stagner of Shelby County won his 113-pound match by forfeit.
Killian Berens of Shelby County won his 132-pound match by forfeit. Austin Poe of Shelby County won his 145-pound match by forfeit.
Chase Weeks of Shelby County won his 152-pound match by forfeit. Luke Miller of Shelby County won his 170-pound match by forfeit.
Clint Davis of Shelby County won his 195-pound match by forfeit.
Shelby County defeated Ashville 42-30. Seven Wildcats won individual matches against Ashville.
Davis pinned Denzell Williams of Ashville in the 195-pound match. A.J. Cole of Shelby County won his 120-pound match by forfeit.
Tyler Carter of Shelby County won his 126-pound match by forfeit. Nick Horton of Shelby County won his 138-pound match by forfeit.
Weeks won his 152-pound match by forfeit. Chris Upton of Shelby County won his 160-pound match by forfeit.
Dylan Grantham of Shelby County won his heavyweight match by forfeit.
Shelby County dropped a match against Oxford, 54-9. Two Wildcats won individual matches against Oxford.
Weeks earned a 10-4 decision over Rudolph Cimato of Oxford in the 152-pound match. Grantham won his heavyweight match by forfeit.
