Dear Editor,

This letter is to thank all those citizens in Montevallo area that donated canned goods to our “Stock the Pantry “ food drive on July 31.

We would also like to thank Lucky’s Foodland for letting us set up the shopping cart inside during the hot temperatures.

Girl Scout Troop 76 Junior Scouts appreciate everyone’s participation in this service project because hunger never takes a day off.

Compassion for those in need is always appreciated during these economic times.
