Alabama Power crews are working to restore power to about 600 customers along Shelby County 33 in Pelham, and likely will have power restored to all customers by 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, a company representative said at about 9:25 p.m.
The outage came after inclement weather and high winds in the area, and is mostly affecting customers along Shelby County 33 between its intersection with Shelby County 52 and Oak Mountain State Park, the spokesman said.
At about 9:15 p.m., the traffic lights at the Shelby County 33-Shelby County 52 intersection and the Shelby County 33-Word Drive intersection were not functioning.
