Three golfers from Shelby County had standout performances at the Alabama Golf Association Junior tournament July 29-31 at the Country Club of Mobile.

Briarwood Christian School’s Trevor Page finished second overall in the ages 14-15 division with a 5-over par 218. Pelham High School’s Connor Slane finished third in the 14-15 division after carding an 8-over par 221 and winning a playoff against Jacob Harper of Valley.

Spain Park High School’s Robby Prater finished in a three-way tie for seventh in the ages 16-18 division. Prater shot a 1-over par 214 in the three-day tournament.
