The Hope Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Covenant Christian Academy 54-46 in high school basketball action Jan. 14.

Pete Thomason and Brandon Fuller led the Eagles with 16 points each in the victory.

Thomason grabbed seven rebounds and dished out a team-high five assists, while Fuller finished with two boards and three assists.

Seth Burnham added six points and nine rebounds. Immanuel Drew, who also grabbed nine boards, and Cameron Costa chipped in three points each.

Chris Thomason finished with two points. Caleb Booker contributed two rebounds and two steals, while Benjamin Bunn grabbed two rebounds.

GIRLS

The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Covenant Christian Academy 35-31 in high school basketball action Jan. 14.

Joelle Reed led the Eagles with eight points. Reed also grabbed five rebounds.

Leigh-Wilson Legg added seven points. Erin Douglas chipped in four points and two assists.

Karlee Tate finished with three points and two steals. Lindy Walker, Davina Drew, Christina Jones and Brooke Machen contributed two points each.

Rachel Holmes finished with one point and three rebounds. Rachel Rettig grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and finished with three steals.
