Funeral service for Trella Jones, age 66, of Shelby, was held Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at noon at South Shelby Baptist Church. Burial followed at Forest Crest Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, from 10 a.m.-noon at the church.
Mrs. Jones, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2008, at a local hospital, was born on Nov. 25, 1941, in Sumiton.
She was a member of South Shelby Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Jones; son, Mike (Kay) Avery; daughter, Joanna (Zack) Brittain; grandchildren, Amanda Avery, Jacob Avery, Kayla Bearden, Kelsie Brittain and a host of other family and friends.
