The Calera High School wrestling team finished 14th in team standings Jan. 7 at the Cleburne County Invitational.

Coby Mize led the Eagles after finishing runner-up in the 152-pound division.

Mize pinned Titus Creamer of Landmark Christian in 1:00 in his opening match before pinning Curtis Humphrey of Weaver in 5:00 in the semifinals.

Mize dropped a 3-0 decision to Alan Santana in the 160-pound championship match.

Hunter Alexander, Cody Thomaston, Vincent Smith, Danny Diaz and Braxton Stokes of Calera also won individual matches during the Invitational.
