The Cornerstone Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated Chambers Academy 61-48 in an Alabama Independent Schools Association Class 1A, Area 1 contest Jan. 6.

Kendall Moore led the Chargers (8-4 overall, 1-1 in AISA Class 1A, Area 1) with 23 points in the victory.

Auston Wingard added 17 points. Hagan Joiner chipped in 10 points.

Chase Payne contributed seven points. B.J. Smith finished with four points.
