The Coosa Valley Academy girls’ basketball team defeated South Montgomery County Academy 48-21 in high school basketball action Jan. 6.

Kaylan Rich led the Rebels (11-5) with a game-high 18 points in the victory. Rich pulled down 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Lauren Archer also recorded a double-double with 16 points and a team-high 13 rebounds.
