CHELSEA – Locals can drop off electronics for recycling at Chelsea City Hall on Saturday, Jan. 7.
“We accept anything that plugs in except a TV,” said Elise Warner, co-owner of Technical Knock Out, an electronic reclamation company in Birmingham.
In order to prevent identity theft, participants can pay $10 for the destruction of hard drives and $7 for monitors. All other electronics are free to recycle.
The event will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Chelsea City Hall, which is located at 11611 Chelsea Road.
