An American Baseball Foundation Pitching Clinic will be conducted by David Osinski, American Baseball Foundation and staff Thursday, July 11-Friday, July 12.

The clinic will be held at the Alabaster City Park on Thompson Road.

The clinic will be from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day for ages 8-12 years.

Cost is $70 per athlete.

Registration is being held at the Alabama Parks and Recreation Department during regular business hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

A minimum of 15 participants is required for the clinic with a maximum of 30.

The clinic will feature proper mechanics, re-pitch preparation, new pitches and grips, the beginnings of pitch control, pitching from the wind up and stretch positions and pitching strategy.

The American Baseball Foundation educates and informs on fundamental baseball techniques regarding injury prevention and recognition, performance enhancement and research for individuals and client baseball groups in order to improve communities and promote goodwill through sport.
