The Vincent High School boys’ basketball team edged Holy Family 63-61 in Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 action Dec. 13.

Dontravious Moon led the Yellow Jackets (7-3 overall, 2-0 in Class 2A, Area 10) with 31 points in the victory.

Anterio Rogers added 13 points. Damauntey Johnson chipped in 10 points in the win.

GIRLS

The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team defeated Holy Family 39-18 in Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 action Dec. 13.

Brooklyn Jones led the Yellow Jackets with 11 points in the victory.

Arkel Kelley added five points. Pam Mann finished with a team-high six steals in the win.
