COLUMBIANA – The county will soon be repaid for storm cleanup from last spring.
The Shelby County Commission on Monday adopted a resolution to enter an agreement with the state for reimbursement of money the county spent cleaning up storm debris.
The county is to be reimbursed about $150,000, Shelby County engineer Randy Cole told commissioners.
The Alabama Department of Transportation will pay the money with federal emergency relief funds, according to the resolution.
