The Oak Mountain High School wrestling squad fell to Hoover 40-32 in a high school wrestling meet Dec. 7.

Six Eagles won their individual matches against the Bucs.

Bronson Lubresky of Oak Mountain dropped a 3-0 decision to Lackey Harrison of Hoover in the 120-pound match. Jared Godfrey of Oak Mountain earned a 17-2 technical fall against Preston Smith of Hoover in the 126-pound match.

Vincent Kimbrough of Oak Mountain pinned Jacob Thomas of Hoover in 2:44 in the 170-pound match. Justin Woodall, Christopher Richmond and Billy Dasher of Oak Mountain each won matches by forfeit.
