The Vincent High School boys’ basketball team defeated Shelby County 68-52 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Dontravious Moon led the Yellow Jackets (4-2) with 25 points in the victory.

Tyler Williams added 19 points and five steals. Anterio Rogers finished with 15 points, four rebounds, seven assists and six steals.

Tyler Madison led Shelby County (2-5) with 22 points in the loss.

Brandon McKinney added 12 points.

GIRLS

The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team fell to Shelby County 55-29 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Brooklyn Jones led the Yellow Jackets with 18 points in the loss.

Carol (Joy) Tucker added seven points.
