The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team split a pair of games in the Brewer Thanksgiving tournament Nov. 25.

The Jaguars defeated John Paul Catholic 70-36 in the tournament.

Whitney Gulledge and Ashley Gaston led Spain Park with 15 points each in the victory.

Takia Mickens added 10 points. Jessica Freeman chipped in nine points. Jasmine Hollis finished with eight points and a team-high 16 rebounds.

Victoria Baldwin added six points. Kelsie Williams scored three points. Jasmine Moore and Kathryn Boswell finished with two points each.

Spain Park fell to host Brewer 43-36 in the tournament.

Gaston led the Jaguars with 19 points.

Hollis added 11 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Baldwin and Gulledge chipped in five points each. Williams finished with three points.
