Legislature grade is F

It’s another three months wasted by the Alabama Legislature, led inauspiciously by the state Senate.
One job – that’s all they have to do – one job.
Constitutionally, they are charged with formulating an education budget and a general fund budget.
But, once again, another session has come and gone and the state has no general fund budget.
The Education Trust Fund budget managed to squeak by after an overridden governor’s veto; but no such luck with the general fund budget.
So, here we go, headlong into another special session which will cost our state millions of dollars.
Alabama residents must rise up against those who are holding our state back, those who are costing our state money and those who are wasting our state’s time.
