Kindergarten registration for Shelby County elementary schools will be held April 6-7.

Registration will be held April 6 from noon-6 p.m. and April 7 from 7-11 a.m.

Registration will be held at all elementary schools serving kindergarten-aged students. Children enrolling in kindergarten must be turning 5 on or before Sept. 1.

Parents enrolling their children must bring a certified birth certificate, current immunization form, Social Security card and two forms to verify residency.

Proof of residency can be established by showing a mortgage, lease or rental agreement and a current utility bill.
