University of Montevallo sophomore Manyi Ati was recently named to the Daktronics All-Southeast Region second team, as voted on by the region sports information directors.

This is the first Daktronics All-Region award for Ati. Ati was named All-Region last season by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Ati was named first team All-Peach Belt Conference this season and ended the year ranked second in the conference in kills per set and third in hitting percentage. She already has 742 career kills in just two seasons. Ati had double-digit kills in 21 matches this season, including a season-high 20 against USC-Aiken.

Ati was named first team All-Conference and Freshman of the Year last season. She was also an honorable mention on the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team in 2010 and she was named to the conference’s Presidential Honor Roll.
