COLUMBIANA – The South Shelby Chamber of Commerce’s 6^th annual Diamond Awards Ceremony and annual meeting is Dec. 1 at Columbiana United Methodist Church.

The program for the elegant affair begins at 11:30 a.m.

More than 100 guests will welcome the incoming executive committee, honor and recognize outstanding chamber members with the “Diamond Awards” of excellence to the business of the year, new business of the year, citizen of the year and ambassador of the year.

State Sen. Slade Blackwell, R-Birmingham, will be the guest speaker. Blackwell represents Shelby and Jefferson counties.

A Christmas meal will be served.
