With the fall and winter holidays right around the corner, busy cooks and hosts can borrow from the library’s treasure trove of cookbooks, entertaining and decorating books.
There is something for everyone, from the aspiring to the experienced.
It’s all for the taking with the swipe of a library card.
Also available at the library for purchase is &8220;Another Taste of Alabaster,&8221; the new cookbook of recipes collected by the Friends of the Library.
The keepsake cookbook has more than 220 well-loved recipes.
There are appetizers, main dishes, desserts and children’s creations.
It’s on sale for $10 at the library’s circulation desk or from any Friends member.
Recipes from &8220;Another Taste of Alabaster&8221; were prepared by members of the Friends on NBC 13’s Today in Alabama Hometown Tour and on Fox 6 News’ Good Day Alabama.
