Rena Martin, 75, of West Blocton died peacefully at home Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005.

She was preceded in death by Jimmy Martin and her daughter, Judy Carter. She was loved by all and will be missed.

She is survived by her sons, Lane Martin of Bessemer and Terry Beasley of West Blocton; her daughters, Jean Sheppard of Adger, Ala., Louise Martin of West Blocton and Renee Durrett of Green Pond, Ala.; her brother, Doc Jarvis of Pea Ridge; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.

Service will be today, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, Ala., Charles Patterson presiding and Valhalla directing
