NORTH SHELBY – As of 4:15 p.m., Birmingham Water Works currently is working to restore water to the Meadowbrook and Brook Highland subdivisions off U.S. 280.

According to a recording from the Birmingham Water Works Board, the outage is on U.S. 280 from Bull Lake Drive and south to Meadowbrook and Brook Highland subdivisions.

“We are working diligently to have water restored as soon as possible,” a board member said.
