Jerry Franklin Jarvis, 62, of Montevallo died Monday, March 20, 2006. He was an associate pastor at St. Thomas Baptist Church in Birmingham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jip Jarvis, and his brothers, Rodger Jarvis, Terry &8220;Cookie&8221; Jarvis and Charles Edward Jarvis.

He is survived by his wife, Dean Elizabeth Jarvis of Alabaster; his daughter, Ann (Kevin) Jarvis Davis of Montevallo and Denise (Robbie) Byars of Sylacauga; his sons, Jerry Wayne (Angie) Jarvis of Montevallo and Phillip (Jennifer) Jarvis of Montevallo; his sister, Sherry Lawley of Alabaster; and his brother, Michael (Marie) Jarvis of Jemison.

Service will be today, March 22 at Charter Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with burial following in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. before the service, Charter directing
