From the Pulpit: Dont you just love good people?

God has blessed me in so many ways. Not the least being, he has filled my life with good people.

I know people who are honest to their own hurt. It matters not if it is a trivial matter or a matter of great importance, they will tell the truth.

Their word is reliable. They keep their promises. They do just what they have said they will do. Don&8217;t you just love good people?

I know people who read the Bible as the very mind and heart of God. They do not read it as a curiosity nor with a take-it-or-leave-it frame of mind.

The words of this book actually teach them, guide them and correct them. Don&8217;t you just love good people?

I know people who love God&8217;s people so much that they never stop serving them. Even despite complaints and the negativism which seems to plague us all from time to time, they keep right on serving God&8217;s people.

They seem to have an understanding that a part of serving God is serving his people through good times and bad times – when it&8217;s easy to do and when it&8217;s not easy to do.

Don&8217;t you just love good people?

I know people who are constantly striving to become like Jesus. They have risen above their foolishness of comparing themselves to others, and they strive for the perfect light and life of the Son of God.

Don&8217;t you just love good people?

Good people are God&8217;s people.
