COLUMBIANA – The Columbiana City Council recessed its regular meeting Tuesday night and spent an hour and a half discussing the proposed budget for 2012.
The council has until the end of this month to pass the budget, meaning it will likely vote on the issue at its next council meeting Nov. 15.
The proposed budget calls for revenues of $3,396,637 and expenditures of $3,359,217.
In the only action taken during the brief council meeting, the council approved minutes from its Oct. 18 meeting.
