Buel Taft Jr., 42, died Monday, April 10, 2006 in Birmingham, Ala. He was a resident of Brierfield, Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Leisa S. Taft of Brierfield, Ala.; his daughter, Courtney Leigh Taft of Brierfield, Ala.; parents Buel and Carolyn Taft of Jemison, Ala.; sisters Cindy Naramore of Montevallo and Sandra Kaye Taft of Brierfield, Ala.; sister-in-law Kim Sharp of Brierfield, Ala.; brother David L. Taft of Clanton, Ala.; brother-in-laws Dewayne Sharpe and Randy Smitherman of Brierfield, Ala.; mother-in-law Joann Blackwell of Randolph, Ala. And numerous nieces and nephews. Service was held today, April 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo with burial to follow at the Montevallo Cemetary, the Rev. Bobby Coston presiding
