Jerome Pilkington, 73, of Sterrett died May 12, 2006. He was born July 29, 1932, in Leeds and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel and James Pilkington.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Brasher Pilkington; his daughters, Teresa (Virgil) Shaner and Lisa (Timothy) Spainhoward; his son, Jerry Pilkington; his grandchildren, Christy and Jeremy Pilkington and Arielle Spainhoward; his great-grandchildren, Aleigha Caffe and Cheyenne Swann; his brothers, Robert and Harvey Pilkington; his sister, Patricia Jones; and a host of other family and friends.

Service was May 15 at 2 p.m. at Brasher&8217;s Chapel with burial following in the adjoining cemetery, Bolton-Let
